C&W Enterprises has been delivering 20 yard roll-off dumpsters across the Central Valley since 1989. We’re family-owned, locally operated, and an authorized hauler for the Cities of Fresno and Clovis, with a fleet that runs from 6 a.m. weekdays so your project starts on schedule.
What Is a 20 Yard Dumpster?
A 20 yard dumpster holds approximately 20 cubic yards of material — about six full-size pickup truck loads. The container measures roughly 18 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 4.5 feet tall, which means it can fit on most residential driveways without blocking the garage, while still giving you the volume to handle a serious project end to end.
The taller side walls (compared to a 10 yard dumpster) make loading bulky items easier — couches, mattresses, cabinetry, and appliances slide in without the awkward lift-overs. For projects with mixed debris — say, a kitchen remodel that includes drywall, flooring, cabinets, and the old appliances — the 20 yard handles it all in one bin.
If your project skews heavier (concrete, brick, dirt, asphalt) or your debris volume is closer to a full home renovation or major construction job, you may be better served by a 10 yard or 30 yard dumpster instead. We’re happy to recommend the right size on a quick phone call.
Best Uses for a 20 Yard Dumpster
The 20 yard is the size most contractors and homeowners reach for first. Common projects include:
- Construction demolition — office, house, warehouse, barn, storage shed
- Whole-bathroom or kitchen remodels — cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, fixtures, and appliances in one bin
- Mid-size roofing tear-offs — up to roughly 3,000 square feet of single-layer shingles
- Flooring removal projects — carpet, tile, hardwood, vinyl across multiple rooms
- Whole-home cleanouts — estate cleanouts, hoarding cleanups, or pre-listing prep
- Larger garage and attic cleanouts — decades of accumulated items, furniture, and storage
- Move-out and tenant turnovers — for property managers handling 2- and 3-bedroom turnovers
- Mid-size construction and demolition jobs — interior demos, additions, framing, and finish work
- Larger landscaping projects — yard cleanups, tree limbs, sod removal, and green waste
- Office and small commercial cleanouts — furniture, carpeting, partitions, and equipment
- Deck, fence, and shed demolition — full backyard structure removal

Why Choose C&W Enterprises for Your 20 Yard Dumpster
We’ve spent over three decades building a hauling business in the Central Valley, and four things keep customers coming back:
Authorized City Hauler
We’re an approved hauler for the Cities of Fresno and Clovis. That credential means our trucks, drivers, and disposal practices already meet every local requirement — no permit surprises, no compliance gaps, no last-minute scrambling.
Family-owned since 1989
Owners Tyce and Kathy Ferguson run C&W Enterprises out of Clovis. The same family answers the phone, the same drivers know the neighborhoods, and the long-standing relationships we’ve built with contractors, property managers, and homeowners are a big part of why we’ve lasted this long.
Transparent, straightforward pricing
Your quote includes delivery, pickup, the rental period, and disposal at our partner facility, Clovis Recycling Center. No broker markups, no surprise fees on the final invoice. If anything would change your price — a rental extension, a weight overage, a different debris type — we tell you up front.
Same-day delivery and afternoon pickups
Our trucks roll out by 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Call early and we can usually deliver the same day, with afternoon pickups available so your jobsite isn’t sitting on a full bin overnight.
Fully insured
Every bin and every job is covered. Property managers, general contractors, and HOAs requiring certificates of insurance can request one before delivery.
Service Area for 20 Yard Dumpster Delivery
We deliver 20 yard roll-off dumpsters across Fresno County and parts of Madera County. The neighborhoods and communities we serve most often include:
- Clovis — including Harlan Ranch, Loma Vista, and Tarpey Village
- Fresno — including the Tower District, Old Fig Garden, Sunnyside, and Fig Garden Loop
If your project is in the greater Fresno-Clovis metro area, there’s a good chance we’re already running a route near you. Visit our full service area page or call us to confirm coverage for your address.
What You Can (and Can’t) Put in a 20 Yard Dumpster
Heavy debris note
Concrete, brick, asphalt, and dirt are accepted, but for projects that are mostly heavy material, a 10 yard dumpster is usually the better choice — the smaller footprint keeps the load within safe weight limits and avoids overage charges.
Not accepted
Hazardous materials, wet paint, motor oil, oil filters, flammable liquids, batteries, tires, freon-containing appliances, asbestos, and medical waste. If you’re not sure whether your material is allowed, just ask — we’ll tell you exactly what to do with it before delivery.
